Lose to Win

The Lose to Win program helps participants achieve their desired weight loss permanently by establishing accountability, utilizing planning and problem solving measures, and providing a support team of specialized weight loss trainers, lifestyle coaches and nutrition specialists. Specific requirements must be met for eligibility.

  • $150 Non-Member Fee

Please submit your interest through the interest form linked below -or- pick up an Interest Card form the YMCA Membership Desk. Wellness Center staff will reach out for a brief eligibility interview before your registration.

FitStart

Complimentary for our members. All beginning exercisers are encouraged to take advantage of this private session with a member of the wellness team. During the meeting, wellness staff will help you set your wellness goals, share a menu of wellness options, and design a program that meets your objectives, interests, and lifestyle. Complete the interest form - Save and email to gparks@wwymca.org, or drop off at the Y.

After you have your FitStart appointment scheduled, complete the first 3 questions of the Questionnaire, then print and bring with you to the FitStart appointment.

 

 

InBody - Body Composition Testing

Weight can be misleading when used as an indicator of health. Your body is a complex structure made of different components such as water, fat, and muscle. To thoroughly learn about your body and its condition, take the InBody test. In less than 30 seconds the InBody will reveal your body fat percentage, muscle distribution, and body water balance. Watch the improvements from exercise and diet and d not let your hard work go to waste. Talk to us about specific steps that should be followed prior to your test.

Cost:  $10 for members  /  $25 for nonmembers

Lunch and Learn

Bring your lunch and join us every second Wednesday of the month as we explore various topics in health and wellness. This lecture-based program is designed for you to learn and ask questions from some of the area’s leading experts in the field of health and wellness. Offered via Facebook Live!
