Action Zone
The Action Zone is a drop-in space for youth members ages 5-12. The Action Zone offers a range of activities in a supervised environment. Youth sign in and out daily and may use the Action Zone for up to four hours during its scheduled hours of operation. In the Action Zone youth are encouraged to read a favorite book, play board and table games, visit the Tech Lab, play chess, work on an art project or simply stay and talk with friends. Video game use is limited and children are encouraged to go for walks, play basketball or join in other games in the gym all under staff supervision.
Hours:
Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Early start every Wednesday at 2:00 PM.
• May have extended hours during local school closures.
Summer Hours
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
ACTION ZONE SPECIALTY CLASSES
The Action Zone frequently hosts specialty classes and camps that may carry an additional fee.
MINECRAFT
Minecraft is a great game for kids to learn. The right scenarios help kids develop problem solving skills, improves their ability to work as a team, and boosts their creativity. Minecraft camps teach the basics of Minecraft.
JR LEGO ROBOTICS
Students design robots together as a small team of young engineers! Great for children who are hands-on and like working together.
HOME SCHOOL MORNINGS:

ART
Youth are encouraged to expresses their creativity through a variety of art projects. During specialty classes skilled instructors help students learn more advanced art techniques.
CHESS
Youth are always welcome to play board games. Chess is more than your average game for fun. Players learn the game strategy, realize the consequences of their actions, build focus, and develop problem-solving skills.
P.E.
The goal of this P.E. class is to continue developing gross and fine motor skills through small sided games, activities, and various sports concepts.
Teen Center
The Teen Center is a welcoming place for youth ages 12-18. Teens are invited to work on homework, play games, visit with friends and take part in special events.
