The Walla Walla YMCA is looking for highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic individuals who can work in a busy environment to fill the following part time positions:

 All positions start at $11/per hour unless otherwise noted

Personal Trainer: The YMCA has a current opening for a Personal Trainer.  The position is responsible for providing up-to-date personal training services with Personal Training certificate preferred.  Some on the job training is provided.  Personal training pay rate starts at $18.00 per hour and increases depending on experience and certification.  For more information contact Theresa Osborne, Wellness Center Director, Walla Walla YMCA, 509-525-8863.

 

Van Driver: Part time Van Driver position available 4 days per week (M. T. TH. F.) from 2:25 – 3:25 pm. This position is $11.50 per hour.  Must be 21 years of age with a clean driving record.  Duties include driving to schools to pick up students and transport to YMCA.  Also, clean the inside of van after each use.  Application deadline January 19th. Application and background check form is available on the website at wwymca.org/about/employment opportunities or stop by the YMCA to pick up an applications.  For questions contact Carissa Vixie at the YMCA 525-8863.

Male Assistant for After School Program: 

BFOQ:  One of the open positions requires a male employee to oversee male students during swimming and when the group is on field trips.

The Walla Walla YMCA is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic male applicant to fill the position as Assistant for the After School Program.  Position is 9 hours per week and must be able to work Monday 3:30 – 5:30 pm and Thursday and Friday 2:00 – 5:30 pm.  Must be 18 years of age.  Position responsible for providing a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on the YMCA core values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.  $11.50 per hour.  APPLICATION DEADLINE – January 19.

 

Male Custodian Opening – Part Time

BFOQ:  Male needed for position to clean specific areas as described below.

Walla Walla YMCA has an opening for part time custodian to work from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm. 25 hours per week at $11.50 per hour.  Duties include; cleans and disinfects men’s restrooms, men’s locker rooms, pool dressing rooms/restrooms, and wellness center; stocks facility with paper and supplies.  Experience in methods of maintaining, cleaning and preserving a variety of surfaces; proper use of a wide range of chemicals according to state and federal regulations; handling and disposing of hazardous materials and blood borne pathogens with care. Must be able to work independently and complete assigned duties in an efficient manner.
