Reopened With Care

Current COVID-19 Guidance Updates effective August 23, 2021

Staying Healthy Together at the Y

In June, the Y and the county returned to usual capacity and operations under the state’s Healthy Washington - Roadmap to Recovery Plan. A few exceptions applied:

  • Members who use the Wellness Center are asked to replace weights and wipe down all equipment after use;
  • Members who wish to reserve the handball/racquetball courts are asked to use the mYTime online scheduler, no other reservations required;
  • Remember to bring a towel as the the Y has discontinued towel service;
  • The Y remains closed on Sundays to allow time to clean and disinfect the facility.

Effective August 23rd masks are required for everyone, whether vaccinated or not, for all indoor activities. Exceptions are:

  •     While in the pool or therapy pools - masks required on the pool deck;

  •     While showering or performing personal hygiene activities in the locker rooms that require the short term removal of your mask;

  •     While pausing for a drink of water while working out or drinking coffee in the lobby. We ask that members and guests who enjoy a cup of Y java while visiting with others, please mask up between sips.

  •     For staff who are working with those who are deaf or hard of hearing where removing the mask is essential to communication.

Masks will be required at all other times when indoors at the Y, including in Group Ex classes and when working out in the Wellness Center. If you enjoy Spin class you may use a bike while our instructors are on break for the next 2 weeks. Please wipe down equipment after use. For those who prefer to workout from home, the Y offers YMCA360 and some Zoom classes.

Y hours are:

Monday - Friday: 4:30 AM to 9:00 PM

Saturday: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM

The Y is closed Sundays for further cleaning.
