Financial Assistance

The Walla Walla YMCA endeavors to provide access to its programs and services regardless of an individual’s economic circumstances. All children deserve the chance to realize their potential, and all adults deserve access to the tools and education that will help them live healthier lives.

Income-based financial assistance is available to all who qualify. To learn more about eligibility, please review and complete one of our application forms.

MEMBERSHIP FOR ALL

THE ESSENCE OF THE Y
With a commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Walla Walla YMCA ensures that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME
The YMCA welcomes all who wish to participate and believe that no one should be denied access to the Y based on their ability to pay. Through our MEMBERSHIP FOR ALL program, the Walla Walla YMCA provides assistance to youth, adult and families based on individual needs and circumstances.

COMMITTED TO OUR COMMUNITY
Determining assistance amounts is handled by the Y in a fair and consistent  manner. Every Y member receives the same membership benefits,  regardless of whether or not they receive assistance. Walla Walla YMCA members can feel confident knowing that they are part of an organization that cares greatly for the well-being of all people, and is committed to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIPS

Grants are available to children and teens for sports, swimming lessons, technology, and teen programs. They are awarded on a program-by-program basis and do not typically require YMCA membership.

Additionally, State and Y financial assistance scholarships are available to working parents with children eligible for Preschool, Summer Camp, and After School Care services. Applications will be available with registration packets at Membership Services during the appropriate enrollment periods.
