  • Lead Acro-Kidnastics Instructor

  • The Walla Walla YMCA is looking for a lead Acro Kidnastics instructor. Help kids learn at their own pace in a fun and safe environment as they learn gymnastics skills, as well as developing coordination, strength, flexibility, spatial awareness, and confidence.
  • -Must be at least 18
  • -Previous gymnastics experience is required.
  • -Schedule Requirements: Tuesday/Thursday 6:30-7:30 PM
  • -Hourly rate of $14.50/hr
 
  • Child Development Part-time Positions 

  • -These positions will work in Kids Korner, Afterschool and Preschool.
  • -Must be at least 18
  • -Position will require a commitment for Fall 2019-Spring 2020, opportunities available to continue during Summer 2020
  • -Schedule Requirements-may be scheduled during any of the following, up to 29/hrs per week:
  • Kids Korner: 
  • M-F: 8:15 AM-12 PM, 4:15-6:45 PM
  • Saturdays: 8:15-10:45 AM
  • Afterschool:
  • M,T,Th,F: 2-5:45 PM
  • Wednesdays: 1-5:45 PM
  • Preschool:
  • M-F: 11:30 AM-3 PM
  • -Hourly rate of $12/hr
  • -Position requires staff member to fulfill Washington State requirements to work in Afterschool and Preschool.

  • Youth Basketball Referee

  • YMCA youth basketball Referees must model character values, sportsmanship, and teamwork. In addition, YMCA Referees must have the ability to appropriately communicate and hold participants accountable for rules and regulations.
  • -Must be at least 18
  • -Ability to referee creating an environment in which children feel respected and engaged in the activity.
  • -Must be able to create and maintain a safe and fun youth environment while being energetic and enthusiastic. Upon hiring must complete background check, maintain CPR and first-aid and complete YMCA required trainings.
  • -Must have the physical ability to stand and walk for extensive periods of time, visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations, and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency.
  • -Position may require bending, leaning, kneeling, and crouching. Must have ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate needs.
  • -Must be able to lift and carry supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • -Schedule Requirements: Part-time position. Youth basketball Saturdays 8 AM - 5  PM.
  • -Hourly rate of $12/hr
 
  • Afterschool Van Drivers

  • -Must be 25 yrs or older
  • -Schedule Requirements: M/T/Th/F 2-3:30 PM, W 1- 3 PM
  • -Starting at $12/hr
  • -Opportunity to increase hours and work as a Afterschool counselor and/or Kids Korner staff member
