Kids Korner Assistant

Kids Korner is our drop off child care center at the Walla Walla YMCA. While families work out/take a break at the YMCA, they can drop their child off for up to 2 hours. This program is for children aged 6 weeks-6 years old. Kids Korner is open year-round. This job requires, nurturing, patience, multi-tasking, dedication, a passion for working with children, communication and above all team work!

Preschool Teacher (Aide)

During the summer we offer a Mini Summer Day camp to children aged 3-5 years old. During the school year we offer a Preschool, extended into full day childcare, to children aged 3-5 years old. This job requires, nurturing, patience, multi-tasking, dedication, a passion for working with children, flexibility, communication and above all team work!

Swim Instructor

Teaches swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety rules to all ages with varying swimming abilities. Assisting more experienced swimmers to enhance their swimming abilities. Assessing the progress of each person. Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes participant safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

Aquatics Fitness Instructor

This position is responsible for planning and leading general and/or specialized activities for program participants.

Action Zone/Rock Wall Staff

Under the direction of the Director of Youth and Adult Sports, this position serves as staff providing oversight for The Action Zone and rock wall. Position oversees a safe, fun and interactive area, building strong relationships with all children that frequent the area. Provide activities and games both inside and outside the Action Zone as appropriate.

Lead Acro-Kidnastics Instructor

We are looking for a lead Acro Kidnastics instructor. Help kids learn at their own pace in a fun and safe environment as they learn gymnastics skills, as well as developing coordination, strength, flexibility, spatial awareness, and confidence. Hourly rate of $14.50/hr.
