Through leadership and academic enrichment programs every child and teen has an opportunity to envision a positive future, and to take an active role in strengthening the community.

Art Classes
Create crafty creations! Develop your creativity with drawing, painting, sculpting and many more cool arts & crafts projects. This hands on class will introduce the creative pupil to dabbling in drawing, paint, clay characters, and more! Please send children in appropriate clothing that allows for freedom of expression or send a smock.
Game Creators Club
Tired of just playing Skyrim? Why not build your own video game! GCC utilizes game changing equipment at the Y’s computer lab through “game making.” Students will utilize their own experiences and create their own video game with the assistance of their peers, experienced legend writers and updated technology. Students will be able to download an original copy of their personalized video game to share with their family! For Middle & High School Students.
Great Lego Adventure Club
Students will get a chance to work with LEGO® Mindstorms® to make robots and create engineering wonders. Designed for Fun but has a number of real world applications for each students future.
JR Great Lego Adventure Club
Students will work together as a small team of young engineers to build lego robots based on their group design. This class is great for children who are hands on and like working together in teams.
Guitar Masters Club
Mastering music is fun! Learn to play guitar and write your own music! Students will learn how to play guitar, put their thoughts to music through songwriting and discover individual talent and expertise. Twice annually, Guitar Master Students will perform for a live audience, showcasing their new/improved talent. For middle & high school students.
Night of Rock
Come High Schoolers one and all. Hang out and listen to great bands. This after hours program provides a safe, supervised place for High Schoolers to hang out with their friends and listen to music. All participants must show a valid high school I.D.
Saturday Night Live
This after hours program provides a safe, supervised place for middle school age kids to hang out with their friends and stay active. All participants must show a valid Middle School I.D.
Songwriters Club
Become the Musician you always wanted to be in Songwriters club. Learn to compose your lyrics and connect them to music. Team up with other Students and create your own recordings at the YMCA and create a basic music video.
Video Game Club:Minecraft Builder
Students will get a chance to work as a group to build their own minecraft world... Each class they will presented with challenges that provide real world value! (All students will be able to use minecraft at the Y but if they want to continue their adventure at home they will need to purchase their own minecraft account.)
Young Filmmakers Club
Bored of watching movies and wish you were in them? Check out the YFC! YFC is geared towards middle school/ high school students. While at YFC, students will be creating exciting stories, learning how to storyboard, acting out their scripts, and learning to film and edit their own videos. There will be a special premiere of YFC films at the end of the 6 week program. Ages 11-18
