Nintendo Wii is an interactive video game system that responds to human motion, not just button pushing.

Zumba!
It's fun, it's fast; it's exciting ...
Zumba is slang for "to move fast and have fun" and that's what you'll do in this class! This Latin-inspired program will get your body rocking -- it's a whole new way to workout.

Zumba blend is a dance party and all fitness levels are invited! Spice up your routine with a blend of easier, low-impact moves or choose the more intense moves. Grab a friend and get the party started!

Belly Dance
Take your workout on an exotic journey through the art of belly dance! Work your core and your mind while learning belly dancing basics. This workout is designed for all fitness levels.

AB Session
This 15-minute abdominal class works the entire mid-section by using a variety of tools, such as body bars, free weights, bands, medicine balls and steps. Pilates-style core conditioning and traditional abdominal training will be incorporated. Participants are encouraged to work at their own level.
Aerobic Dance
Aerobic Dance is a great way to increase cardiovascular fitness, improve strength and have a great time. The music is a blend of new hits and old favorites. All routines are choreographed to allow everyone to work at their own level and have fun.
Cycle and Strength
Forty-five minutes of traditional Indoor Group Cycling cardio with an option "bonus" of 15 minutes of strength training.
Fusion Fitness
Beat boredom an maximize fitness. Every eight weeks we rotate to a new class, including Bootcamp and Bosu Cardio Fusion. Check at the front desk for the new schedule!
Bootcamp (Sept. 2 - Oct. 23)
A high-energy 3/4 hour full of dynamic action and explosive moves. A fun, challenging class.
BOSU Cardio Fusion (Oct. 28 - Dec. 23) BOSUs will be used in a manner similar to a step. A blend of cardio and resistance exercises with dynamic balance and stabilization for a fun power-packed workout using BOSUs to add the challenge of balance and stability.
Hard "Core"
A non-stop challenging workout. Completely focused on the abs, back and glutes, to tone and strengthen core muscles for serious results.
Indoor Group Cycling
Indoor group cycling workout with music and an instructor who will motivate and inspire you to a new fitness level.
Mommy and Me
For all moms and their children aged six months or younger, this is a continuation of Mothers-to-Be. Enjoy a quiet setting with cardiovascular exercises with special emphasis on pelvic floor, lower abs and back muscles. A wonderful time to bond with other moms while you get in tune with your body and your baby.
Pilates
A workout designed to develop the core muscles from the inside out. A flow of strength/stretch exercises utilizing deep core muscles (abs, back) coordinated with the breath.
Ripped Body Sculpting
Get ripped lean and sculpted with this full body workout using weights or your own body weight. A total muscle-toning workout that gets results fast! Strength, endurance and compound exercises will be incorporated to break your plateau and help you achieve your desired fitness goals. Workout at your own level, modifications for lower or higher intensity will be shown.
Ripped Cardio and Sculpting
Resistance and cardiovascular workout that achieves maximum muscle definition and decreases body fat. One of the fastest ways to increase your metabolic rate! The cardio intervals can be a mix of kickboxing, step, BOSU, sports conditioning and just about anything cardio. The sculpting segments will keep you working at an aerobic level using all types of equipment; body bars, bands, hand weights, medicine balls, etc. Workout at your own level, modifications for lower or higher intensity will be shown.
Stability Ball
Trim and slim your abs, hips, thighs and buns all in one easy session. Make the stability ball a part of your training program and get the benefits or improved posture, balance and a leaner, stronger you.
Step Aerobics
Power-packed step class that combines body bars and bands into your step routines. Build more lean muscle mass without losing your cardio workout. All levels.
Yoga
Classic Hatha yoga posture with a focus on alignment, flow and poses.
YogaFit
Yoga designed for a fitness setting. A complete physical workout that lengthens and strengthens muscles while increasing flexibility, balance and lung capacity. Suitable for all fitness levels, YogaFit will condition your body, calm your mind and refresh your spirit.
Gentle YogaFit The same great YogaFit format with a more gentle approach. Suitable for all ages, but ideal for active seniors.

"Extra Gentle" YogaFit
Designed for the sedentary or moderately active senior. This class gently challenges, yet honors the aging body. The poses and methods will allow the student to increase muscular strength, endurance, flexibility and increase stamina, lung capacity and overall wellness. Chairs and props will be used in this class. |

Basic yoga experience recommended. Our traditional YogaFit class blended with new, intense or challenging poses.

Fitness Programs
FitStart:
All beginning exercisers should take advantage of this private session with one of our qualified fitness instructors. Your trainer will help you set up a fitness plan. During the meeting you and your trainer will set your fitness goals, talk about the variety of fitness classes available, set you up on Nautilus Strength equipment and orient you with the cardio equipment of your choice.
JumpStart:
This program is geared for members who have an active workout history and need to spice up their existing program. Your one-on-one meeting with a qualified trainer will familiarize you with the equipment, design a program that meets your specific needs and lead you through your first workout. Members are encouraged to sign up for JumpStart every two months to evaluate and upgrade their fitness routines.
Adult Sports
We strive to have at least one gym available at all times for open play. Basketballs are available on the racks in both the middle and main gym. Racquetball courts are available, members may reserve a court in advance by calling in or signing the court reservation sheet at the front desk. Racquets, balls and eye guards are available at no charge at the front desk. Eye guards are mandatory for youth and strongly advised for adults.
Adult Basketball League
After two very successful season our Adult Basketball League is back by popular demand. Enjoy competitive five-on-five basketball the way it was meant to be, played with hustle, teamwork and sportsmanship. This program is meant to be a competitive extension of our highly popular morning and noon ball programs. Either create your own team or sign up to be placed on a team. Approximate 8-10 game season with single elimination playoffs.
Program Fee: $35 per player
Must be a current YMCA Member to participate.

This is for anyone who has a desire to play a challenging game with other members and share a laugh or two. All levels welcome.
Friday Night Dodgeball

Come join this age-old school game. Open to everyone 14 years old to adult. This fast-paced activity is sure to keep you moving and light on your feet. Bring your friends and discover why this sport is sweeping gyms of America. No charge.

YAH YAHS (Young At Heart)
The Yah Yahs are "young at heart" active senior members of the Y. They go places and do things that are exciting, educational and just plain fun.

Medically Supervised Exercise Class

Get moving again in a comfortable, supportive and social atmosphere. This is a non-competitive, supervised class where you will exercise at the intensity prescribed for you.

Healthy Steps
Get moving towards a healthy lifestyle with this class. Come dressed to work out. This class will help you learn how to eat right, increase energy and get the most out of your workout. Each participant will receive a pedometer and a basic body age test. Monday’s class is 30 minutes of Q&A on healthy lifestyle topics and a 30-minute workout. Wednesday’s class is a one-hour workout.
