Dollars at Work
The Y uses your gift to make a meaningful, enduring impact right in your own neighborhood.
$1,000 Provides 4 at-risk teens with an annual membership to the Y.
$1,500 Presents a child the key to a world of exploration for an entire Summer at the Y Summer Day Camp.
$2,500 Provides 50 children the opportunity to build self confidence with a session of swim lessons.
$5,000 Allows 5 families who are experiencing financial hardship the ability to enroll their children in programs that can alleviate stress, foster relationships and find a positive outlook.
Donations Support
The YMCA offers values-based programs designed to help young people build self-esteem, strengthen positive values and establish healthy behaviors - creating a foundation for youth in which to grow and develop into contributing adults.
PRE-SCHOOL & AFTER SCHOOL CARE
It’s about nurturing their development by providing a safe place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance. This is all accomplished through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
SWIM, SPORTS & PLAY
Children and teens gain the confidence that comes from learning to swim or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in programs at the Y is about building the whole child, from the inside out.
EDUCATION & LEADERSHIP
Children and teens gain confidence as they recognize the Y as a place where they belong and can feel comfortable exploring new interests and passions. Additionally, through our leadership and academic enrichment programs, the Y makes sure that every child has an opportunity to envision and pursue a positive future, and to take an active role in strengthening his or her community.
CAMP
Y camps ensure that every child has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. And, of course, it’s fun too.
